What is The Young Authors Project?
The Young Authors Project is a guided writing experience for kids who love stories, imagination, and creating worlds — and who want help turning those ideas into a real, finished project.
This is not a class.
It’s not a test.
And it’s not about perfection.
It’s about confidence, creativity, and finishing something meaningful.
Age Groups (Running Concurrently)
We run two age groups at the same time, with age-appropriate prompts, pacing, and support:
✏️ Ages 6–9
- Short stories or early chapter books
- Focus on imagination, structure, and confidence
- Emphasis on fun, momentum, and completion
📖 Ages 10–14
- Longer stories or multi-chapter projects
- Focus on character, plot, and storytelling craft
- Builds discipline and authorship identity
Kids are grouped by age so they feel comfortable and supported.
